M2: The Deathly Bubonic Plague

I didn't have to wake up Lola or Ella this time, it was pretty relaxing. Instead she woke me up pretty early. Hopefully we'll have fun this week. We are traveling to Medieval France, but I heard there was a case of the Bubonic Plague going around. It was going to be a little bit difficult to try and not get the Black Death it was a big hazard.
When we arrived in France there was a darkness that I could fell just in the air. Our new time travel machine took us right to our little cottage that we'd be staying in. We went to the marketplace in the middle of the town, be bought some food to prepare ourselves for the week, I got some bread, olives, and some cranberry juice. My favorite medieval foods. When we got back to the house I didn't feel very good. I just hoped I didn't have a case of the bubonic plague.
I went to bed and I started to notice a few black and blue splotches, but I thought they were just bruises. When I woke up Lola and Ella were at my bedside, tears filled their eyes. Ella said quietly, "Oh good, I thought you were dead." Then they told they were going to go to the apothecary to get some medicine for me. I think it was then that I blacked out and went into a coma. I started to dream... They were really weird, in my dream I supposedly put a bomb inside Lola's alarm clock and I killed her... But it was only a dream...or was it.
They told me it was about a week that I was in a coma. I knew Lola was worried I could tell by the look on her face and the tears running down her cheeks. Then I finally had the strength to stand up and get out of bed. Lola and Ella ran toward me and gave me a giant hug! then Lola said, "I thought you were gone, I couldn't have imagined what it would've been like without you." Then I heard her choking back more tears, and that made me start to cry. If it hadn't been for Ella being a pre medical student, I don't think I would have made it back to modern day Manhattan.
This trip was extremely emotional and painful. I am just so relieved that I am okay. I don't know what would have happened if I had died, I was just happy that I came home mostly unscathed. I now know how much Lola and Ella love me. I have to say I will probably come back to Medieval France, well, when the Bubonic Plague isn't going around.
