M10: PHOTO SAFARI !!!!!!! GREECE

I looked around the corner, behind the Acropolis, and near our hotel. I finally found the Bentley. Shining perfectly, I was so glad the car didn't have any scratches.  It was amazing how the damage to the Bentley (time travel machine) was untouched, considering it was parked near the battle of Thermopylae.
.

I stared. The Parthenon was my favorite building of the whole trip.
It was not as gigantic and enormous as had I assumed.

The Greeks held their Greek flag up high, and they were very superior over the Persians.

As this meal was served to us, the waitress said "Bon Appetite!"

Many of the soldiers were heavily equipped; they fought with their hands after their weapons had broken.

Looking back on the map I couldn't stop thinking of all the places and journeys Lola and I had experienced.

Battling furiously, the Greeks were absolutely not going to give up this battle.

Now that Lola and I are back at home, we can finally realize how exhausting our journeys in Greece were.

I can remember studying the columns in high school.  The Doric order, the Ionic order and the Corinthian order. See I can still remember this stuff.

Before we left we made sure to say goodbye to Zeno. (The awesome farmer.)
By the end of the trip I was defiantly not ready to leave, although in the back of my mind I remembered that our next destination is ROME!

M9: THEATER

"Hellooooo!" I said infuriated, but calmly.  Are you serious come on can't she just get an alarm clock.  So for this TTI mission Lola and I are traveling and exploring the theater of Dionysus upon the acropolis. Even though I have been studying Greek theater for years, she is the one that gets the part in the play.  But while she gets the fame I will be chanting the same lines over and over and over again in the background. Oh well I guess it's better than nothing.
When we arrive at the theater, she was so excited while I was half smiling in the corner. Lola was the main character along with 4 other actors and actresses.  The play went spectacularly;  we were so ecstatic. After we taught the class all about Greek theater, and the history behind it. All the students became the greatest actors and actresses in Greece.  Lola made us dinner back home; they were absolutely the best hamburgers in the world. my travels in Greece have been the funnest of my life. I hope we can stay here for a while.

M8: The Golden Age of Athens

I awoke to Lola screaming about a bad dream.  Later she told me it was all about zombies eating her family(WEIRD).  This morning when I looked at the calender I then realized that my vacation was over, and I was going back to visit the golden age of Athens. After breakfast I took my camera and hopped in the VW buggy car (Because Lola had already left with the Bentley)
When I arrived back in the golden age of Athens, Greece. I visited the Acropolis. Where I  took  pictures of all the monuments.  My favorite of all was the Parthenon with its immense amount of columns and great complexity. I also enjoyed standing in the theater of Dionysus because it was like  a natural microphone, as if everyone in the audience could hear you with out a microphone.  There was a caboodle of people everywhere looking at the building and monuments. They were unlike anything I had ever seen before.
I got home and Lola was on the couch covered in blood. (I told her she shouldn't go to war)
So I made her some chicken noodle soup and tended to her for the next week.

M7: Vacation For The Holidays (part one)

I talked to Sr.Zorro the other day and he said he was letting all the T.T.I. employees go on a vacation for the holidays! woo hoo! Lola and I decided that we would go back home (to Pandora) and pick up Zelda, Otto(mom & dad) and Cornelius (our younger brother), and the two twins (who my parents recently adopted) Eva & Wally. For a surprise we are taking them to modern Italy!
It's now 5:30 and the morning. I am so groggy, but I can feel the excitement inside. I was packing my bags and chugging coffee. In Pandora we celebrate Blobmas instead of Christmas. I got Lola the best present ever. After breakfast we hopped into the bentley and we took a short 27 minute long trip to Pandora. On the way there I told Lola all about how the tradition of Blobmas started, its the celebration of when the first citizen of Pandora was born.
We arrived on Pandora in a small amount of time where at the house the whole family greeted us with much joy. "Come on in" my mom said, "we are having Mama Murphy's pizza"
I replied joyfully, " I love their pizza! Can I have a piece of the speckled pepperoni delight?"

We left for Italy the next day and had a wonderful time! You can read part two and find out what we did.

M6! Hello Greece

"Lola, Lola, wake up!" As I wake her up(AGAIN), she says,
"Isis is coming over and we are having breakfast together." So I went downstairs to make some eggs, hash browns, bacon, and dutch babies (a German pancake type thing). When Isis arrived ringing the doorbell nonstop. I yelled "I got it."
"Hi Zorah, thanks for inviting me over!" Isis said.
As the Bacon sizzles in the pan, the timer buzzes for the dutch babies, and the eggs are done frying, it was time for an enormous and delicious breakfast.
After breakfast we hopped into the pink Bentley after breakfast and in a glance we were in Ancient Greece. We stepped out of the car and it was 100 degrees! I really loved the scenery and all the mountains with great views. I was especially astounded on how beautiful the farm was. We headed for the the front door of the house down the long pathway.. As it got shorter and shorter, a  farmer opens the door to greets us, his name is Zeno. We introduced ourselves as well, and  I take a look at Isis whose eyes were sparkling with happiness. She says, "Wow; your farm is superior compared to the others." (I can tell she is in love at first sight) As we went on talking to the farmer he told us all about the food and crops in Greece; they all sounded delicious. My favorite foods that Zeno said were the olives and grapes, he also mentioned how they raised sheep and goats to make milk and cheese! I think so far I am really liking Greece and will want to stay for awhile.

M5: Bye Egypt!!

As my memories flow through my mind, tears came to my eyes, it was the best journey ever! This is pharaoh Ramses II Temple, it was moved to a higher spot away from the Nile while they built the dam.

From day to night the ENORMOUS
statues  guarded the entrance to the temple.

As if it were almost yesterday, I can remember sitting on the steps of the Great Pyramid at Giza, eating a giant sandwich. saying to myself bon appetite.

It's beautiful. The temple was so amazingly built, like it was carved into the mountain, with wonders inside.

Reflecting this wonderful map, images pop into my mind, this journey has been like no other and will never be.

This is pharaoh and king Tut also known as king Tutankhamen. He is famous because his tomb was found in the most perfect condition even though it had      been robbed every so often. His tomb was in the valley of kings where many
other tombs were.

Toward the end of my journey I got really groggy and just wanted to go home. But now I now that it was totally worth it. I even learned to read these hieroglyphs.

M4: Explore

Suddenly I awaken with the lights flashing on and off, Lola wakes me up shouting "COME ON ZORAH GET UP!!!!!" Then she literally drags me out of bed and downstairs. I walked into the kitchen  to make an ENORMOUS breakfast of eggs, bacon, OJ and chocolate chip pancakes. Yum!

Today, Lola and I are going to try and survive as an Egyptians. We haven't decided if we want to be peasants or pharaohs. So after she packs the lunches and we get ready to go, I open the door and everything was different including our bodies. I had changed into a peasant and she was a pharaoh, lucky. I remember that when something like this happens it only lasts for a day. Working hard, I was being bossed around by my pharaoh sister. So for my first meal of the day which was lunch I had some fish, cucumbers, which all together was the size of my palm. I worked and worked and worked in the fields harvesting crops to help pay the taxes and then later building a temple for my sister.

But by the end I truly knew what it was like being a peasant, but one thing most peasants get to do is walk up the stairs to the new temple and have dinner with your sister. So step by step approaching the great temple I...tripped and fell, (clumsy me) but Pharaoh Lola was there to help me up. We eat dinner and then watch the sun go down as we transform back to our normal, avatars selves.

M3: a letter

So now that Lola and I have found our way around most of the major towns of Ancient Egypt, this time Lola and I are splitting up on our travels. I got to go on a Falucca ride again and  went down the Nile River to Giza. Where I saw The Great Pyramid of Giza that was built by Pharaoh Khufu. When I got off, and walked toward the pyramid I saw a twinkle in the sand, it was a bottle. So then I picked it up and popped out the cork and I had my tour guide because he could translate the letter. He told me that the note said...

       Dear Reader Of The Future,
This is a message from Pharaoh Khufu. I started to rule ancient Egypt in 2551 B.C.E. But I am slowly dying and I don't much time left. I would like my tomb to be in The Great Pyramid of Giza. Which my workers finished after 20 years and it took 2,300,000 blocks to build. The pyramid was in the very center of the complex, surrounded by temples, monuments and statues.

   Sincerely, Pharaoh Khufu

I stood there, Paralyzed, after reading that. After being speechless for a long time I quickly put the note back in the bottle screwed the cork back on. Then I took it into the future gave it to the museum people and quickly glanced back to the past. Breathing heavily, I had no idea what to do.

M2 EGYPT!!!!!!!!

I have to go wake up my sister Lola, (again) but this time it's important. "LOLA! Wake up come on it's time to go travel ancient Egypt."
"Fine, gosh, I'll get up" She yelled back at me. I think I'm getting tired of this.
Today once we turn on the ignition of our hot pink Bentley we'll go back in time to explore the Nile River in Egypt. Lola made me a great lunch of sandwiches and cookies and then her phone started to ring and it was my mom, so sadly I picked it up and hang up on her. Then we got in the car and started to telleport... Suddenly I awoke from the car and my face was covered with whipped cream becasue I itched my face. "Lola come on really" I told my prankster sister. After we were shaken and rattled we were there, EGYPT. "So you remember all the geographical features of the Nile river and why the Egyptians settled there right, right?" I told Lola as she stared off into space while holding the map.
Then slowly as I snapped in her face she said...  "YA!, of course I remember" We were heading towards Ramses II Temple.
I think the Egyptians settled there because it was a good source of water and when it flooded almost every year the water made the soil good for growing crops. The Nile River had a lot of surrounding  deserts so it was a good source of protection from enimies.
Then we went on a Falucca ride and I could hear the rushing water which was pretty cool. I can see the river and it's bends as we float down the river. once we get off the Falucca, Lola and I visited a local tribe who gave us a sample of their food and it was delicious! then We visited the Great pyramid in Giza and I felt the rock which was amazing to feel the hard work that the Egyptian put into it. I think I'm starting to like Time Traveling, no I love it.

M1 Goodbye

As my alarm goes off bright and early, I get dressed and pack my bags today's the day. Walking into my sister Lola's room I turned on the lights and said "Lola, it's time to get up, come on."  Before eating my giant bowl of cereal my dad whispers to me, bon appetit. That was my breakfast, then slowly saying goodbye to all my friends and most of my family my  little brother Cornelius  rushes down the stairs and yells, "you guys are leaving?"

"Yes! we told you that like 3 weeks ago", we simultaneously replied, (he wasn't known for his listening skills.)

" well then, bye" he answered giving us both a big hug. I pushed open the front door and smelled the Manhattan air, the last time for a while. On the way Manhatton and then the TTI 'airport' I thought...Hopefully we don't get to GROGGY on the time travel machine, that wouldn't be good.  Especially that we won't be discovered by our true identities of being avatars undercover and under all this makeup. Goodbye people.

BYE FAMILY!!
